For those who have not yet had the chance to discover this concept, the Time-Out Market is a culinary and cultural experience bringing together, under one roof, the best chefs, mixologists, restaurants and bars in Montreal. It is a famous concept that can be found in several major cities around the world, including Lisbon, Miami, New York, Boston, Chicago, Dubai, London and, of course, Montreal.
It’s no secret that this food market, which opened in November 2019, has been hit hard by the lockdown. Fortunately for foodies, the Time-Out Market officially reopened on July 2, 2021 with full of new surprises.
Located on the 2nd floor of the Eaton Center, the majority of gourmet food court chefs and restaurants are back this year – Kamuy, Bistro T, Il Miglio, Moleskine, Marusan and le Red Tiger – in addition to a few new arrivals -le Campo, le Blossom, le Taj, le Diplomate, Casa Kaizen and Tunnel Espresso.
With the summer fading away and the return of more and more Montrealers in downtown offices, the city center is slowly coming back to life. This revival also means that social activities in the workplace may soon restart. We’re talking here about the comeback of business meetings, team building happy hours and dinners with colleagues.
